Add hostname based ignore list. It is important to note that the NetBIOS host name and the DNS name may differ. Which name Pi.Alert uses for identification depends on the respective responses of the host. In the event that a device is only recognized by an arp-scan, this device is added to the database as a new device for a short period of time during the scan. A new optional column added to the device list. It is now possible to execute the WakeLonLAN command from the device list. The column required for this can be activated in the settings. No WoL buttons for devices where it probably makes no sense (Smartphone, Router, Switches, Tablets)

For smaller resolutions (Smartphones), a "sticky" back button has been added at the bottom of the screen on the details pages.

pialert_update.sh (extension of the configuration file)

If the user running Pi.Alert is set up in sudoers, then the database permission can be set to the correct values before the scan (addresses "Read Only Database" errors). To do this, uncomment line 67 in ~/pialert/back/pialert.py. This is disabled by default.

Additional parameter PUSHSAFER_DEVICE in config file. This was done to reduce API-calls. If the parameter is not set or remains set to "a", API calls for all registered devices will be subtracted from the account.

A custom bash script for copying the devices, events, and sessions tables from an older database to a new database. Time overlaps between the databases were not within the scope of the script's creation. (#537)

pfSense Import (#522). During import, the hosts that pfSense lists as "active" and "online" are imported from the DCHP server. In addition, the ARP table is imported from pfSense and all hosts whose validation has been refreshed in the last approx. 10 minutes are marked as "online" in Pi.Alert.

With the switch from Home Assistant Docker to Home Assistant OS, it became apparent that integrating Pi.Alert as a sensor is not as easy as desired, as Home Assistant OS has different requirements. Add hostname based ignore list. It is important to note that the NetBIOS host name and the DNS name may differ. Which name Pi.Alert uses for identification depends on the respective responses of the host. In the event that a device is only recognized by an arp-scan, this device is added to the database as a new device for a short period of time during the scan. As soon as the hostname resolution is complete, the device list is searched again for matches in the ignore list. If there is a match here, the device is removed from the database again. No notification is sent for this device.(#487)
